Those nice guys at the Festival de Curtmetratges Baumann v.06 (”Curtmetratges” being catalan for “short films”) just happened to have the very welcome idea of choosing my film ¿Nos conocemos? to compete in the category of Fiction-Video.

¡Good for you!¡Clever kid! You’re right, the short was shot on film. But it was edited on video and I don’t have a 16mm copy so Fiction-Video is my category. Thing is, there I am, among the 64 selectioned films from the 297 that were sent. ¿Or was it 292? 297 would mean I cinematographycally beat the shit out of 5 more people, so we’ll agree to say 297.

Congrats to Albert, Olga, Ricard and Jose, who’ll be showing their films as well. Mine will be shown on September 7th at 22:00. The audience decides who wins and who cries.

I doubt I’ll win anything, but I can’t tell I wouldn’t be glad to.
